Obituary:

Hattie Henrietta Nuttbrock, 92, formerly of Willow Lake, died Wednesday morning, December 9, 2009 at Parkview Care Center in Bryant.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 14 from 5-7 PM at the United Presbyterian Church in Willow Lake.

Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 10:30 at the United Presbyterian Church in Willow Lake with Rev. Marjie Brewton officiating. Visitation will start at the church at 9:30 AM until the time of services. Burial will follow at Collins Cemetery in Willow Lake.

Active and Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Hattie was born in Lennox, to Henry and Hattie (Groen) Schneiderman on June 20, 1917. She graduated from 8th grade at Collins country school. On March 20, 1938, she was united in marriage to Albert Nuttbrock in Lennox. They farmed six years at Lennox before moving to Willow Lake. Albert died on April 6, 1975. Hattie was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, where she participated in the ladies aide there and taught Sunday school. Hattie enjoyed baking bread and sewing quilts. She was everyone’s best neighbor with hospitality as one of her greatest gifts. Her family was her greatest treasure.

Hattie is survived by her seven children; Darlene Fellon of Felda, FL, Alice Kannegieter of Prior Lake, MN, Barbara (Bob) Collins of Chula Vista, CA, Saundra (Charles) Lentz of Savage, MN, Dr. Larry Nuttbrock of New York, NY, Rodney Nuttbrock of Buffalo, WY and Bryon Nuttbrock of Willow Lake, grandchildren; David Fellon, Todd Kannegieter, Pam Lies, Bob Collins, Brenda Collins, Laura Lentz, Michael Lentz, Nick Nuttbrock, Nancy Thompson, Neal Nuttbrock and Cody Nuttbrock, great-grandchildren; Tyler and Christina Lies, Megan and Casey Collins, Cadence and Colby Nuttbrock.

Hattie is preceded in death by her husband Albert and a great-grandson, Caleb Nuttbrock.
